Rated 4 out of 5by sujinja It's supposed to a lotion...not a sunscreen.
I find it kind of funny that those of you that used this product for sunscreen purposes had bad experiences, but those that used it primarily as a moisturizer, with the added benefit of sun protection had no problems with it. This product is meant to hydrate and also give sun protection. But I feel that if you are laying out at the beach or going on a hike, you should probably use actual sunscreen...not lotion with sunscreen in it. This product is obviously a lotion meant to moisturize, with the added benefit of sun protection. So future buyers, please keep in mind that: a) if you are looking for a sunscreen, buy a sunscreen and b) if you would like a moisturizer with the benefit of everyday protection from the sun, buy this. People don't realize this but two of the major aging culprits are the sun and toxins in the environment, and genetics. I have found it is difficult to find a good moisturizer that leaves my skin soft and supple, that also has high SPF sunscreen and this product provides both. I love it.

Rated 1 out of 5by DahianaR So disappointed
I was a faithful customer when they had the Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock Spray spf 70. My skin would break out with any other sunblock including the most expensive ones. I tried this one when I couldn't find the other one on the shelfs; thinking it would be the same or better. But what a disappointment when I saw my skin breaking out like crazy. Not only the acne freaked me out, now I have dark spots on my face. Why did they discontinued my favorite sunscreen? What am I supposed to use now? It depresses me to walk around with a dark spot right over my mouth looking like a mustache. :'(

Rated 1 out of 5by WheeAnne Bring Back the SPF 70 SPRAY!!!!!
I'm a devoted Aveeno user and I adored the SPF 70 SPRAY for faces. I feel like a spray covers better and more evenly on my face. What a bummer to find out it was discontinued. I suppose I'll have to switch brands :(

Rated 1 out of 5by FloridaSunshineGirl Fail! First time Aveeno has ever let me down :(
I've used and recommended Aveeno for years. This year, however, I was unable to find our usual Aveeno hydrosport SPF 85 that is sweatproof and waterproof and designed to be applied even to wet skin, so I settled on their new formula with SPF 70. How I wish Aveeno would bring back their Hydrosport SPF 85!!! The new formula went on well, and I assumed we were protected and even reapplied several times...as I always do as I am very fair and burn easily, but never with Aveeno before. However, I'm now sporting my first sunburn in many years...and it is painful! I'm sadden to have to switch brands, and am afraid of discovering others that do not work before finding one that does. But to be sporting sunburns with a product promising SPF 70 and aftering appropriately using and reapplying every hour, is just unexcusable.

Rated 3 out of 5by Pete Seperation of ingredients in the heat
I found when the bottle gets warm in the sun the oily ingredient seperates out and the white ingredients get clumpy. A lot of shaking helps mix the oil and white together but not entirely. The product still work just fine.

Rated 2 out of 5by mgarci35 Cottage cheese!
A friend recommended this product. I bought it and I liked the fact that the smell was pleasant. However, on the third day, when I wanted to apply the sunscreen to my face, the texture was what resembled to cottage cheese. The cream was liquid with little bumps (balls). I thought that maybe if I shock the sunscreen bottle, before aplying, it would turn into its natural state, but it just made it worse. I checked the experation date and it was good. I always had my sunscreen bottle in normal room temperature, so I have no idea why this product went bad. I was very disappointed! I can't even return it.

I'm sorry to hear the other reviewers got burned, that certainly isn't any fun, but I had great success with this product. I used it in Destin on the beach (where the white sand burns people fast) and maybe got a slight tan through the product. I also felt as though it made my skin feel noticeably soft and smoother, even after I got out of the shower after hitting the beach or pool. The price is a little steep, but I consider it my little luxury.
