He has really sensitive/dry skin and when I saw it was for itchy dry skin I couldnt pass it up. Well it's absolutely horrible. After every bath he would get these red, patchy, hive looking patches all over his stomach. I couldn't figure out why he kept getting them and I finally did some research. After googling forever, I finally found this page and all the horrible reviews on it. Someone mentioned "commiphora myrrha oil" - which can cause irritation in the skin like that. I believe this is what everyone is allergic too, I can't find another product containing it either just the essential oil. So buyers do your research before buying this product!!!

  Rated 1 out of 5 by VJS21 from Caused Itchy Dry Skin DO NOT Buy I bought this body wash a month ago because my skin tends to get dry in the colder months. I selected this one because it claimed to help dry skin, it had no fragrance, and Aveeno is a reputable dermatologist recommended brand, right? Wrong! I initially noticed i had round dry patches on my face, then my neck broke out in a rash and finally so did my genital area. I was going through it, my skin was extremely itchy and I had no idea what was going on. I made appointments to both a dermatologist & gynecologist and they both advised there is something I'm using on the areas my body is reacting negatively towards. I had no idea what it could have been because the only thing i switched was the body wash and how could it be that when its for itchy dry skin relief?! Well as soon as I stopped using the body wash along with the steroid cream provided by my doctor it went away. I was in literally agony with extremely itchy broken skin, would not recommend for anyone to use!

My skin usually breaks out in pink dots, after I washed with my previous body wash. With Aveeno, the rash still appears but it's very minimal! THANK YOU AVEENO, for creating this formula!! I love that it has no wheat ingredients now! My sister has celiac disease, and she has a horrible time finding body washes without some type of wheat ingredients!! She's excited to try this now! Thank you for changing the ingredients, and considering those with a wheat allergy! You have a few new customers for life!! :)

The Aveeno is truly unscented. For those with asthma or are very allergic to scents -this product fits the bill. It also does my 75 year old skin good.

I use this on the area because regular body wash makes it worse. This soothes it and makes it easier to deal with.
